Devon's twin arena, home of the Devon Xtreme

The GFL Twin Arena grew out of Devon's Dale Fisher Arena. A second ice surface first appeared in the Town's 2004 Recreation Master Plan, federal and provincial infrastructure funding was confirmed in August 2020, and after construction was put on hold in June 2021, Council rescoped the project on August 8, 2022 from a recreation centre to a twinned arena. A shovel ceremony on April 19, 2023 started the build.

The building has two sheets. Ice is in at the Dale Fisher Rink from September to May, then comes out for floor bookings until mid-August, while the Shayne Zender Memorial Rink keeps ice year-round. The expansion added the second sheet, new dressing rooms and a single energy-efficient ice plant.

It is home to Devon Minor Hockey, the Devon Skating Club, NAX Hockey Academy, the Devon Bison junior team and the Devon Xtreme, who joined the Alberta Junior Hockey League as an expansion team in 2024–25 and are preparing for their third season.
