Two NHL-size rinks inside the Mill Woods Recreation Centre
Mill Woods Twin Arena is the pair of hockey rinks inside the Mill Woods Recreation Centre in Edmonton. The centre stands between two schools and, as well as the two NHL-sized rinks, has an indoor swimming pool and an exercise room; the City of Edmonton lists its facilities as an aquatic centre, fitness centre, indoor play space, two arenas and outdoor facilities.
Both sheets measure 200 feet by 85 feet. Rink A and Rink B are listed at 300 seats plus room for 200 standing, with spectator seating in both arenas, and safety netting and tempered glass protect the viewing area.
The City of Edmonton runs the arenas. Ice time at City-operated arenas is reserved through the City, but ice slots cannot be booked online and availability is not guaranteed.

The City of Edmonton's Fall 2026 drop-in schedule lists this arena's Public Skate times without a price and does not say they are free. Its non-member single visits (CA$13.25 adult, CA$10.50 youth, CA$8.50 child) are listed for Member/Admission Skate.
Use the City’s public-skating schedule to choose a dated session and ice sheet. Member/admission skating and shinny use online registration; check in at the front counter after registering.
The City of Edmonton's arena data lists 4 dressing rooms per rink - 6 showers per dressing room, safety netting protecting viewing area, tempered glass and spectator seating for 300 plus 200 standing (Rink A), 300 plus 200 standing (Rink B).
During public skate, children under eight must be accompanied on the ice and actively supervised by a responsible person aged 13 or older. Helmets are strongly recommended.
