Aachen's Tivoli-Eissporthalle of 1982, renamed 100,5 Arena in 2016

The 100,5 Arena opened in 1982 as the Tivoli-Eissporthalle Aachen and was run by its original owners' group until May 2008. Since the 2009/2010 skating season a new owner has run it through a company set up for the purpose, TEB Tivoli-Eissporthallen Betreibergesellschaft.

In June 2016 the radio station 100,5 Das Hitradio bought the naming rights to the Tivoli-Eissporthalle, and the hall has carried the name 100,5 Arena since, with the skating operation unchanged. The entrance area and the toilets have been thoroughly renovated.

Skating, Eisdisco, ice dance and ice hockey are the hall's daily business. On Saturday evenings disco lights and current charts turn the hall into a skating party. In summer the arena and its grounds can be booked for trade fairs, concerts and markets, and on many Saturdays the grounds host a flea market.
