Opened in 1976 and marking its 50th year in 2026, the only ice rink in the Aire urbaine
Patinoire Christian-Ochem in Bavilliers, run by the Grand Belfort, celebrates its 50th anniversary in the 2026-27 season; the programme dates it 1976 to 2026. It calls itself the only ice rink in the Aire urbaine, with 1,680 m² of ice under music and light shows, and a weekend of anniversary festivities has been set aside for its 50th year.
Outside public sessions the ice is shared by clubs in four disciplines: figure skating, ice dance, ice hockey and speed skating. The rink also stages shows, galas and high-level competitions.
The public calendar for autumn 2026 is built around events: an e-dance night on 17 October, the fourth Winter Games on 23 October, a Halloween party on 31 October, a Family Day on 6 December and a visit from Father Christmas on 16 December. DJ nights with a professional DJ run every two months, on late sessions only.
