HC Ajoie's rink since 1973, rebuilt in 2020 with a second sheet of ice and renamed Raiffeisen Arena.
Loading public skate, freestyle, and stick & puck times for Raiffeisen Arena (Porrentruy)…
The rink was built in 1973 to host the matches of HC Ajoie and opened with 3,300 places, 1,100 of them seated. It became a landmark of the region, and a political one too: delegates of the Rassemblement Jurassien met there to decide on backing the plebiscite of 23 June 1974. The club's first two promotions to the top league, in 1988 and 1992, came on this ice.
In 2018 the communes of the Ajoie district and the Clos-du-Doubs launched a renovation that created a second sheet of ice, and the public voted it through by a wide margin. The new arena took the name Raiffeisen Arena under a sponsorship contract. The first official match was played on 24 November 2020 against HC Thurgau, and the official inauguration followed on 13 to 15 May 2022 with Federal Councillor Guy Parmelin.
The arena now holds more than 5,200 spectators, about 1,700 of them seated, and the rebuilding let HC Ajoie meet the entry conditions for the National League.
