Burgdorf's year-round ice hall with a roofed outdoor field
The Localnet Arena in Burgdorf is owned by the Regionales Eissportzentrum Emme AG and run by it on its own responsibility; its operational management has been in one hand since 1 April 2013, and the finances are handled by the city of Burgdorf. The centre offers ice all year in a modern, functional building.
The ice hall has match infrastructure up to the first league of ice hockey, plus figure-skating events and training, with 11 dressing rooms, separate ones for referees and coaches, and room for 1,300 spectators, 200 of them seated.
A roofed outdoor field with a photovoltaic plant, a Canadian-style rink, offers good conditions for matches up to the third league and holds about 250 spectators. Two curling rinks equipped with video cameras complete the centre.
