Lyss's winter hall for hockey and curling

The Seelandhalle Lyss is the municipality's winter venue for ice hockey and curling: the ice surface is the heart of the building, and the curling hall behind it completes the sports offer. Many local and regional teams use the hall as their home ground for league games, among them the SC Lyss, whose men's team has played in the MyHockey League since 2019.

The SC Lyss was founded in 1964 and counts nearly 300 active and junior members. Training and league play of the hockey clubs run from mid-August to mid-March, and the hall is generally open for public skating and free hockey from early October to mid-March, with changes announced. From April to July it can be rented for selected events.
