København S · Public skating times & prices

A city-owned hall in the Arenakvarter, run for public skating by Copenhagen Falcons.

Public skating at Ørestad Skøjtehal: the next 7 days

Currently out of season This is the standing weekly timetable Copenhagen's culture and leisure administration prints for public skating in Ørestad Skøjtehal; it prints no season dates, and its dated notes cover only this autumn; checked on 3 October 2026. Sessions are listed to 2 November 2026. Monday to Friday 12 to 16 October are not listed because the page's Danish and English texts give that week's time slots in a different order; Sunday 18 October is listed, as both texts give it. The hall is normally closed on public holidays. Official schedule update

Beside Royal Arena in Ørestad

Ørestad Skøjtehal stands in the Arenakvarteret district of Ørestad, right next to Royal Arena, and is designed visually as an open frame for sports on ice. The city's pages say it was inaugurated in 2016 and give 2017 as the year the hall opened, in an urban area with many public institutions and close to nature on Amager Fælled.

Besides the main ice sheet, with seats for just over 400 spectators, the building holds a smaller tumlebane rink, a fitness room, a dance hall and a large movement and meeting room. The ice hockey club Copenhagen Falcons, a club that focuses on children and young people, trains in the hall, which is a Copenhagen Municipality facility. The club also runs the skate hire on behalf of Københavns Kommune.
