Inaugurated in 1995 to replace the worn-out old Rødovre rink nicknamed Kostalden.
Loading public skate, freestyle, and stick & puck times for Rødovre Skøjte Arena…
Rødovre Skøjte Arena was inaugurated on 6 February 1995 as a replacement for the old, worn-out Rødovre Skøjtehal, nicknamed Kostalden, which lay in the north-east of the town. It was built on a Norwegian model, inspired by the ice halls constructed for the Olympic Winter Games in Lillehammer, and has room for 3,600 spectators, 2,012 of them seated, which makes it the biggest ice hall on Zealand.
The arena sits on Rødovre Parkvej and is built together with Rødovrehallen through a shared entrance foyer. It is the home of Rødovre Skøjte og Ishockey Klub and its elite team, the Rødovre Mighty Bulls, and since October 2018 the hall has carried sponsors' names, starting with Rødovre Centrum Arena. Public skating, which the club calls friløb, runs in the arena from 1 October to 31 March.
