A three-week winter rink on the market square of Deurne, now in its 14th edition

The IJsfestijn is three weeks of ice fun in the centre of Deurne, on a large rink with a separate section for the smallest skaters to practise. The first week is for primary schools, and at the weekend there is room for Glow on Ice, Heel Deurne Bakt, a Foute party on Ice and Dickens in Deurne.

The pavilion that serves food and drink was given an upgrade last edition, with a new set-up and look in cooperation with Baroef, and there is a cosy outdoor terrace looking onto the rink for busy days.

To keep it accessible the organisers added a 5-ride card to make skating more often easier. Payment on the rink is by card only, and the website says no booking is needed: you can come for any session.
