Public skating at Eishalle Düdingen: the next 7 days
Currently out of season The Eishalle's home page says its 30th season has started, and its Belegung page links the 2026/27 weekly occupancy plan (Stand 28 September 2026): public skating ("Öffentliches Eislaufen") appears there only as slots between school, club training and matches, week by week, so no weekly timetable is listed here. Checked on 4 October 2026. Official schedule update
A regional ice hall in operation since October 1996
The Eishalle Düdingen grew out of a 1989 announcement that the canton would subsidise regional ice halls. The Regional-Eisbahn Sense-See AG was founded in January 1995, the first sod was turned that 11 November and the hall has been in operation since October 1996. At a commune assembly the people of Düdingen gave the company 5,000 square metres of land free of charge.
The rink was designed to run from October to March, but the winter season now begins in August. The refrigeration plant was replaced after twenty years, the building carries a 150 square metre photovoltaic system, and behind the hall a synthetic ice field of PVC panels serves individual training. The company took over the Hockey Bistro itself in January 2024, and the hall plans an open day in its 30th season.
