An alpine sports centre with six outdoor and three roofed curling rinks

The Alpines Sportzentrum Mürren brings movement, recovery and meeting together under one roof: an indoor pool, a spa with a whirlpool, a fitness area, a triple sports hall measuring 46 by 27 metres, the ice rink and a pump track offer a wide choice of sport and leisure all year round, and a bistro and the tourist information complete the centre. In winter the grounds turn into an ice field for skating and hockey, prepared from December to March for skaters, hockey players and curlers.

Curling shares the site: six outdoor rinks and three roofed rinks are available from December to mid-March, and the roofed ones allow play whatever the weather. Tournaments are held regularly in the adjacent curling hall, and introductory curling courses can be booked online or on site. The ice is looked after by the centre's technical manager and ice master, Kurt von Allmen.
