An ice hall whose club traces back to 1946

The Eishalle of the Sportzentrum Grindelwald is the home of the EHC Grindelwald, whose history reaches back to 1946. The club runs a first team in the 3. Liga, a senior side, the youth section Beo Yetis and a Hockeyschule, and the hall is hired out for figure-skating and ice hockey training camps, matches and large events.

During public skating a third of the ice is normally set aside for ice hockey, which can be closed at any time depending on how many guests there are. In April the hall can host figure-skating training weeks, and groups can shoot ice stocks on the ice with a reservation. The Sportzentrum held a public information evening on 7 September 2026 about its future, with a new Sportzentrum planned for Grindelwald.
