A 30 by 60 m international-standard rink in Niida Park, open from September to April
Technol Ice Park Hachinohe is the indoor rink in Niida Park, an 11.5 hectare park in Hachinohe that also holds tennis courts, a multipurpose ground and lawns. It was the Niida Indoor Rink until naming rights were introduced in October 2011, when it became Technol Ice Park Niida, and it has carried its present name since August 2014.
The sheet is 30 by 60 metres with corner radii of 8 metres, built to the standard of international competitions, and is used for ice hockey, figure skating and short track. Espromo runs it as the city's designated manager, and the season runs from early September to the end of April.
The rink closes on Thursdays, or the next day when Thursday is a public holiday, and over the New Year. The operator posts the public sessions in a monthly calendar.
