A two-level ice arena in Cologne with a 1,800 m² rink and a 260-metre elevated ice track
The Lentpark in Cologne opened in autumn 2011 as a new building, replacing the earlier ice and swimming stadium, and still combines an ice hockey rink, an elevated ice track, an indoor pool and an outdoor pool. The ice offers an experience on two levels: a 1,800 m² rink on the lower floor and, on the upper floor, the Eishochbahn, 260 metres long and 8 metres wide.
Every Saturday brings a family EisParty in the late afternoon and an evening EisParty for ages 12 and up, with a DJ. Teams can book ice-stock sessions at set times, school classes get special terms and children's birthdays can be held on the ice. The new ice season began in late September 2026, with the elevated track fully frozen from early October, when the Lentpark turned 15.
