Örebro's Vinterstadion, now Behrn Arena vinter: artificial ice from 1963, home of Örebro HK and ÖSK Bandy
Behrn Arena vinter, called Vinterstadion until 2008, is a modern arena with both an ice hall and a bandy hall. Vinterstadion was one of the first plants in Sweden with artificial ice in both the ice hall and the bandy pitch: the bandy pitch was inaugurated on All Saints' Day 1963 and the ice hall on 1 January 1965.
The ice hall is the home of Örebro HK and the bandy hall of ÖSK Bandy; the bandy hall is also the home of Örebro Konståkningsklubb and the place for public skating.
A major rebuilding of the ice hall began in 2010, raising the roof by about 8 metres and increasing the capacity to 5,100 spectators. At Easter 1967 the Rolling Stones gave two concerts in the building.
