Kumla's ice hall, built by volunteers in 1988

ICA Maxi Arena in Kumla was inaugurated on 22 October 1988 and is owned by Kumla municipality. It replaced the outdoor rink that had been the centre of hockey in Kumla: the first one was laid out in 1963, the year IFK Kumla's hockey section was formed, and artificial ice had been made on the site since 1974.

The decision to build a hall was taken in autumn 1987, and demolition of the old rink started in March 1988. About 25 players from the squad worked on the build with club members and parents, and unpaid work and sponsorship together covered around half of the building cost. The hall was first named BOB-hallen after the BOB factory, one of its larger sponsors, and has been called ICA Maxi Arena since 2016. The rink measures 60 by 30 metres.

Kumla HC plays its home games here, using the hall for senior, junior and youth teams. The attendance record of about 1,200 dates from 1996/97, when IFK Kumla finished second in division 1 west and qualified for Allsvenskan.
