Built in 1972, roofed in 1990 and home to the Peißenberg Miners, a long-time Bayernliga club
Loading public skate, freestyle, and stick & puck times for Eissporthalle Peißenberg…
The ice stadium in Peißenberg was built in 1972, and its roof was added in 1990, which made it a fully enclosed hall. It holds about 3,000 spectators, and its operators count more than 30 years of history under cover, including some successes in what they call their sacred hall.
The Peißenberg Miners play there: nine teams, about 150 children and young people and 35 adults in the senior and old-boys sides. The senior team has played in the Bayernliga, the top amateur league in Bavaria, for decades, and the club says it wants to keep Peißenberg a hockey stronghold.
The ice is shared with ice-stock shooters, figure skaters, the SC Forst and hobby teams, whose training times appear in the same occupancy plan, and visiting fans at games are asked to use the stand opposite the stadium clock.
