Opened on 25 November 1971 and rebuilt in 2009; home of HC Zubr Přerov since the town got its first indoor ice
Přerov's winter stadium was started in spring 1969 and opened on 25 November 1971. Before it, the town's hockey club, founded in November 1928, played on outdoor natural ice and in the 1950s trained at night in Prostějov and Olomouc.
The ice surface and machine room were rebuilt in 1999. A reconstruction between 20 May and September 2009 renewed the stands, narrowed the ice surface and replaced the boards, the scoreboard and the ice resurfacer room. The stadium holds 3,000 people, 1,951 of them seated, and 3,000 came to watch the women's under-18 world championship. After 2009 it was called Maxi-Tip Aréna, and since 25 September 2012 it has been Meo Aréna.
HC Zubr Přerov plays its home games here, and in summer the inline hockey club IHC Night Birds Přerov uses it. Since 2016 it has regularly hosted the Zubr Cup, which draws professional Czech and foreign teams.
