A meeting place for ice and events in the Bergisches Land
The Eissporthalle Solingen is an ice hall and multi-purpose hall in the Bergisches Land. Outside the ice season the 2,000-square-metre hall serves as an event space for concerts, trade fairs and company events, and a donation drive is under way to help renovate the ice hall.
During the season the calendar carries themed Eisdiscos: current hits and a light show that makes the ice glow, a Halloween disco in costume around the autumn holidays, a themed disco in February at the height of the season, and a season finale in April before the summer break.
The hall also offers ten skating courses of five sessions each, starting between October and February, and it shuts for part of the autumn holidays and runs daily hours over Christmas and the New Year.
