Currently out of season The event's site gives the Wuppertaler Winterzauber 2026 as 19 November to 28 December 2026; no sessions are listed here before the opening day. Checked on 4 October 2026. Official schedule update
The Wuppertaler Winterzauber is in its fourth round in 2026, and its ice rink measures 10 by 20 metres. It stands in a village of rustic huts on the Laurentiusplatz with festive lighting, Christmas-market charm and a popular alpine hut for parties, and it runs from mid-November to late December.
Pupils have their own discounted skating sessions in the late morning and early afternoon, and school classes can also book exclusive morning slots. Every Monday is Familientag, with reduced tickets for the whole family.
Tickets for the skating rink are bought on site. The Winterzauber also has a sustainable Eisstock lane made of plastic, and it closes on Totensonntag and over the Christmas days. Rental skates are available at the rink for children, pupils, students and adults, so nobody has to bring their own.
