Uppsala's indoor bandy hall, built in two and a half years

Serwenthallen has also been called Relitahallen and Recoverhallen. It was built as a first step in Uppsala's bandy development, to give elite and youth players good training conditions, and its owners say that two and a half years from idea to inauguration is a record in Uppsala.

It is a full-size hall with room for up to 1,000 people, built to the bandy federation's measures (105 by 62 metres) and approved for match play. The owners chose Gränby partly because a hall could be finished quickly there, and say it uses 50 percent less energy than Studenternas. A heated parents' room with a panoramic window looks onto the ice.

The hall is owned by Uppsala allians för bandyhallar, formed on 10 November 2009 by clubs including Danmarks IF, IFK Uppsala, Sirius Bandy, Uppsala BoIS and Vide Bandy. New LED lighting went in for the 2021/2022 season and a new cooling plant in 2023/2024.
