Wilson Ice Arena is the NHL-size indoor rink of Milwaukee County's Wilson Park Recreation Center at 4001 S. 20th St. The county offers public ice skating throughout the year, with rental skates, group rates and rink rentals also available.
The Milwaukee Admirals use Wilson as a practice facility. The rink, with a maximum capacity of 2,000, is home to the Greendale Ice Force high school team and the Southeastern Hockey Association of Wisconsin, and the arena hosts adult leagues and SHAW Hockey youth leagues.
Learn-to-figure-skate lessons are taught by the Greater Milwaukee Figure Skating Club, from 4-year-olds through adults, with programs for skaters just getting started to those ready to master the basics. The NHL-size rink can also be rented for tournaments or events, with locker rooms and a concessions area.
