The Minnesota Wild's rooftop practice rink

TRIA Rink sits on the fifth floor of Treasure Island Center in downtown St. Paul, a building that opened in 1963 as a Dayton's department store. After Macy's left in 2013, the St. Paul Port Authority bought it, and on December 22, 2016, the Minnesota Wild signed a lease for a rink and practice facility on the roof. Ground was broken in April 2017, TRIA Orthopedic Center took the naming rights, and the rink opened on January 10, 2018.

It is the official practice rink of the Minnesota Wild and the Minnesota Frost, and Hamline University's men's and women's teams use it as their home ice. Floor-to-ceiling SageGlass on the north side changes tint with the daylight, while an ammonia system below the sheet keeps the ice cold even with light shining in. Seating holds 845, with standing room for 150.

The Minnesota Whitecaps made the rink their home when they joined the NWHL. It staged the league's All-Star Game on February 11, 2018, and the 2019 Isobel Cup Final, which the Whitecaps won. Between team practices it carries youth hockey, community events and occasional public open skates.
