Dover Arena's Robert Foster Rink

Dover Ice Arena is the home facility for Dover Youth Hockey, the Great Bay Figure Skating Club and six local high school teams. The arena runs public skating, hockey, youth programs and special events through the year on an ice sheet named the Robert Foster Rink.

The Robert Foster Rink measures 200 by 85 feet, and the building seats up to 1,300 people. From April to August the ice comes out and the cement floor is opened for indoor sports, along with concerts, flea markets and hobby shows.

Saturday nights are Rock Night, a skating session run to new music under cosmic lights, and the arena installed new lights and a new sound system for it. The arena also hosts the New England Bay State Girl's Hockey Tournament, a USA Hockey sanctioned event.
