Opened in 2008 with a YMCA under the same roof
Innisfil Recreational Complex opened in 2008 and is owned by the Town of Innisfil. Its two rinks are run by the municipality, and the building also holds an aquatic centre, a gym, a conditioning floor, a running track and yoga studios operated by the YMCA.
The larger rink is the Cortellucci Rink, also known as the Red Rink, with a fan capacity of 1,000. The Cortellucci family, local real estate developers, hold its naming rights. It is home to the Innisfil Spartans, a Junior C team in the Provincial Junior Hockey League that was founded in 2022 after founder George Floros became determined to bring hockey back to Innisfil.
On May 12, 2025, a fire broke out on the roof and closed the complex for repairs. Electrical and mechanical rooms, change rooms and hallways under the northwest corner of the roof were affected by the fire and by the water used to put it out.
