A City of Toronto twin-rink centre; a January 2019 fire took firefighters 39 hours to put out
Agincourt Community Recreation Centre is a City of Toronto recreation centre in Agincourt with two indoor rinks, listed by the city as Rink 1 and Rink 2, that provide ice for both hockey and leisure skating. The same site holds a pool and is home to the Agincourt Lawn Bowling Club and the Agincourt Tennis Club, and its programs run from preschoolers to older adults.
On January 31, 2019, a major fire broke out at the recreation centre, and Toronto firefighters extinguished it only after 39 hours, on February 2, 2019; both the pool and the ice rink were damaged. The rinks carry the city's drop-in skating today, along with the skating, figure skating and hockey lessons run through the city's registered programs.
