A City-run twin-pad recreation centre, home ice for the Scarborough Sharks girls' hockey program
Malvern Recreation Centre is a City of Toronto community centre with two indoor ice pads, Rink 1 and Rink 2, each 185 by 85 feet. It is one of 121 indoor and outdoor pads the City operates and permits to teams, leagues and groups, and the centre runs programs for all ages beyond the ice.
The Scarborough Sharks Girls Hockey Association lists both Malvern rinks among its venues, with Rink 2 among the venues for its competitive teams. Its Little Sharks introductory program skates at Malvern Arena every Saturday morning. Stouffville-Markham Girls Hockey also lists the centre as one of its venues.
The City runs drop-in skating here along with skating, figure skating and hockey lessons. In March 2026 the centre hosted the third annual spring classic tournament, with CP24 on hand to talk to the players about it.
