Penetanguishene’s one-pad town arena, which shares 61 Maria Street with the town’s Sports Hall of Fame.
The Penetanguishene Memorial Community Centre has one standard-size ice surface, 80 by 185 feet, with seating for 700, and in the warmer months the floor takes recreational uses and large special events. Its two halls, Brian Orser Hall for 244 people and a 100-person lounge, are rented for meetings, banquets, weddings, birthday parties and celebrations of life.
The building is also the home of the Penetanguishene Sports Hall of Fame, which gives 61 Maria Street as its location and the arena phone as its contact. Its honoured members, inducted since the late 1980s, run from the 1934 Spencer Foundry Rangers to athlete Brian Orser and the 1987 and 1993 world curling champions. The 2025 class, among them the 1963-64 Novices, was inducted on October 18, 2025, in Brian Orser Hall.
