Black Bear Sports Group arena that the Metro Jets junior team and a 70-member figure skating club call home
Mount Clemens Ice Arena is owned and managed by Black Bear Sports Group and stays open year round. Youth hockey in the building runs through the Mount Clemens Hockey Club, adult hockey through Michigan Sports Enterprises, and the figure skating programs are taught by a professional coaching staff.
The Mount Clemens Figure Skating Club, a United States Figure Skating member club since 2002, makes the arena its home and counts roughly 70 members. Club skaters are given solos, duets or trios in the arena's Annual Spring Skating Show, and the club runs parties, fundraisers and an annual awards banquet for its members through the year.
Junior hockey arrived in 2021, when the Metro Jets, a non-sanctioned junior team, moved to Mount Clemens to play out of the arena and added professional broadcaster Matt Prieur as the voice of the club. The Jets play their home games on what the organization calls the Jets Rink.
