Rebuilt for the new Musikhusparken and open to the public round the clock
No public skating is posted for the next 7 days. New sessions show here as soon as the rink posts them.
The rink in Musikhusparken is the winter ice of Aarhus's Musikhus park, and the current version is new: local press reported in October 2025 that the park had shown no sign of winter magic the year before and that the new rink would open on 1 November. Its funder, Salling Fondene, described it as a brand-new, modern rink designed for the park and fitted naturally into its surroundings.
Sport & Fritid at Aarhus Kommune runs it. The ice is open to the public around the clock, so it cannot be booked for private events, and a winter lounge (vinterstue) gives skaters a place to rest between rounds. Musikhuset reported that more than 45,000 pairs of skates were hired in the last season, and the programme through the winter includes events for children and adults.
