A roofed rink on the Bodensee shore, in use since 2004

Hard's roofed ice rink has been a winter meeting place since 2004. It stands on the Seestraße as part of the Sport- und Schulstätte am See, and the same roofed surface is used for inline hockey in summer.

Beginners, advanced skaters and figure skaters share the ice and skate to music, and newcomers can learn the first steps in skating lessons. Hobby hockey players, companies and clubs can hire the rink, with a full set of ice hockey equipment if they need one.

A café above the ice, the Haikaffee, serves drinks and snacks during public sessions and EHC Hard home games, and can be booked for parties and seminars for up to 80 people. The rink reopens every autumn: in 2018 it opened on 26 October, in time for the autumn school holidays.
