A 1,800 square metre sheet opened in 2007, reopened under a new operator in December 2012
The municipal ice rink in Valdemoro opened in 2007 as an addition to the town's leisure and sports offer. The town council reopened it on 14 December 2012 under a new operator, with longer hours and lower prices.
The ice measures 1,800 square metres and is surrounded by a 1,000 square metre corridor, inside a 3,700 square metre complex beside the Río Manzanares sports centre. A stand holds 240 spectators, and there is a cafeteria.
Ice Team Ballet represents the rink in competitions, and the rink stages national-league hockey matches and figure-skating championships. It hosted the 40th Copa del Rey de hockey hielo in January 2017, and it was the official venue of the 2021 Campeonato de España Iberdrola de Patinaje Artístico, held behind closed doors.
