The ice arena in building B of the Salyut sports complex in Dolgoprudny, with mass, sport and hockey skating

The ice arena is in building B of the Salyut sports complex on Raketostroiteley Avenue in Dolgoprudny. The modern complex has been built in stages since 2007, and the arena works every day, with groups running to a schedule.

Three kinds of skating are offered. Mass skating is for everyone who wants to spend weekends and holidays actively and with benefit. Sport skating is for amateur and professional figure skaters practising special elements, with no more than four skaters per coach. Hockey skating is allowed in full equipment, and children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Skates are available in a wide range of sizes, from 26 to 28 for toddlers and then 33 to 46, and protection for children is included in the hire. The air above the ice is about plus 12 degrees, and a skating aid helps beginners.

Admission

A one-hour mass-skating ticket costs RUB 350 for adults and RUB 300 for children 7 to 14 on weekdays, and RUB 420 and RUB 350 at weekends and on holidays.

Skate hire costs RUB 250 an hour for adults and RUB 200 for children under 14, with protection and a helmet included for children; sharpening costs RUB 350 a pair.
