A seasonal rink in Halle 1 of the Messe Offenburg

The Eislaufhalle Offenburg is a seasonal rink set up in Halle 1 of the Messe Offenburg-Ortenau, known as the Freizeit-Arena, with 1,800 square metres of ice. After a long pause caused by Corona it reopened on 16 November 2024, and that season set a visitor record of 61,388.

The 2025/26 season brought 250 new VIP skates for hire and a technical update to improve the ice. Online tickets, introduced for 2024/25, were credited with making the operation easier to plan, and schools use the rink in large numbers. A Senioreneislaufen on Mondays outside the holidays was a highlight of that season.

Four Eisdiscos were especially popular in 2024/25 and 2026/27 offers them again; the hall is darker and fuller than usual then. A bistro in a hut style sits inside the hall.
