The Kunsteisbahn Olten is the ice stadium run by the Sportpark Olten AG, a company founded in 2005 whose main aim is to operate and maintain the stadium. It promotes ice hockey, figure skating and public skating, and the first team of EHC Olten plays its weekend games here.
The stadium was renovated between 2011 and 2016 for more than 17.1 million francs, and further work followed on the boards, the cooling plant, the west toilets and the lighting of the hall ice. Twelve municipalities, among them Olten, Winznau, Dulliken and Hägendorf, support the rink as a regional sports facility.
The club teams and private renters start their season on 2 August 2026, two months before public skating, and in summer the building is offered for other sports and events.
