Opened in 2015 to replace the Bocquaine rink

The Patinoire Albert 1er was inaugurated in 2015 to replace the Bocquaine rink, which was destroyed in 2014. The main hall covers 2,800 m², with 634 m² of annexes around a sheet of natural ice that measures 56 by 26 metres.

Ice hockey, figure skating and free public skating share the ice, and the Club de patinage artistique de Reims is the resident club. The stands hold 600 people, with room for another 100 around the rink, and the hall has three changing rooms and a VIP room.

Sledges are lent for the morning public sessions, and competition days can close the rink to the public, as at the turn of October and November 2026. The city's other rink, the Barot, has been open since 1992.

Admission

A single entry is 4 € for adults and 3,20 € for under-18s and students. A card of five entries costs 15,70 € (adult) or 12,50 € (reduced), and 10 € with a CNAS card; all cards are named.

Gloves are compulsory, a helmet is recommended for children, and sledges are lent during the morning public sessions.
