Laon's ice rink inside Le Dôme

Le Dôme opened in 2003 on avenue Charles de Gaulle in Laon, an intercommunal complex that puts an aquatic centre with a wellness area and an ice rink under one roof. Equalia has managed it since 2023 for the Communauté d'Agglomération du Pays de Laon.

The rink has two sheets. The Grand Ring covers 800 m² (40 by 20 metres) with 300 seats in the stands and is the reference sheet for public sessions, matches and competitions. The Ludiparc, at 600 m², is the more accessible one, suited to beginners and children, and a bar with sound system and animations keeps the atmosphere going between laps. The rink is open from September to mid-May.

Children's lessons run through La Tribu des Patineurs, in level groups led by professionals, and freestyle and themed nights punctuate the season. Art Nova sur Glace brings its ice show Il était une fée, four fairy tales told on the ice, to the rink on Saturday 5 December, and the ice reopened for the season on Saturday 19 September.
