Lanester's ice rink since 1991
The Patinoire du Scorff was inaugurated in 1991 in Lanester, in the Parc des Expositions Lorient Bretagne Sud, and is run by Equalia. Its site describes it as a fixture of the Pays de Lorient for more than thirty years.
The rink is a single 800 m² sheet, 40 by 20 metres, with light shows and a big screen that give it a festive feel. A cafeteria and snack area look straight onto the ice.
Beyond public sessions the programme includes the Jardin des glaces for toddlers, an École de glace for children, five-day beginner courses from age 4 and Academy packs leading to hockey, figure skating, freestyle or synchronised skating. Themed nights open the season, such as a Back to School evening with a DJ on Saturday 12 September, and the rink sells a pizza-night birthday formula it calls unique in the Morbihan.
