Valenciennes Métropole's two-sheet rink in Marly

Valigloo stands in the recreation zone of the Briquette district in Marly, three kilometres from the centre of Valenciennes, and Equalia runs it. Two sheets give it two different moods.

The Olympic sheet measures 60 by 30 metres, 1,800 m², with 900 seats in the stands for ice hockey matches and skating competitions, under a light show and a giant screen of 4 by 3 metres. The 700 m² ludic rink is the one for learning to skate, with the Jardin des Glaces, a light show and a mirror ball. A skate bank holds 1,000 pairs in sizes 24 to 49.

The Valenciennes Hainaut Hockey Club, the Diables Rouges, is resident, with youth teams from U7 to U18 and adult sides in recreational play and the Division 2 French championship. The Skate Hainaut Valenciennes Club teaches skating from age 3 and stages a Christmas gala, an end-of-season gala and its own Coupe SHVC. Art Nova sur Glace has its show Il était une fée in the rink's programme.
