Châlons-en-Champagne's Olympic-size rink since 2004

Cité Glace was inaugurated in 2004 and has been the ice rink of Châlons-en-Champagne ever since. Equalia runs it through its subsidiary Harmonia, under a public-service delegation signed with the Châlons-en-Champagne agglomeration.

The single sheet is Olympic size, 1,456 m² (56 by 26 metres), with 1,100 places including 700 seats in the stands. A giant screen shows competitions and shows live, a DJ plays from a booth on party nights, and a walkway rings the rink. An ice lounge with a bar looks onto the ice.

Two resident clubs skate here: the Gaulois play hockey and the ASGC covers figure skating and ice dance, and the lounge lets visitors follow the Gaulois' training and the ASGC's lessons. Ice karting runs every Sunday, and themed nights with karting, live music or late sessions fill the calendar.
