A 900 m2 covered rink on the Markt in Uden, with an icetube slide, live music and curling with a wink
Currently out of season The rink's site says Uden on Ice runs from 11 December 2026 to 3 January 2027 on the Markt; no sessions are listed here before the opening day. Checked on 4 October 2026. Official schedule update
Uden on ice puts a 900 square metre covered rink on the Markt for three weeks every winter, with an icetube slide, a hospitality pavilion and the Schrobbelèrtent beside it. The 23rd edition ended in January 2026 with the traditional Smeltfeest, after tens of thousands of people had spent three weeks on the Markt.
Curling is a fixture of the programme, played with a wink: no skates, brooms or difficult rules, and anyone can join in. The pavilion hosts live acts for more than three weeks, most of them free to attend.
The organisers offer free skating lessons to children up to 12, and many children took their first metres on the ice here. The short-track skater Bibi Arts is one of them.
