HC Thurgau's home ice, back since 2009

The Eishalle Güttingersreuti is the city of Weinfelden's ice sports centre. HC Thurgau played its home games here from 1989 to 2000, then moved to the Bodensee-Arena in Kreuzlingen, which had reopened in 1997 after a major extension, and returned to the renovated Güttingersreuti on 1 November 2009. The club plays in the second-tier Swiss League today, and the SC Weinfelden also plays its home ice hockey games here.

Besides ice hockey, figure skating is practised in the Gütti, as the hall is called locally: the EC Weinfelden trains the skaters and regularly organises competitions. The hall has twelve team dressing rooms, two more for referees or teachers and a theory room with 40 seats, and school classes can book time slots in the mornings and afternoons.
