Inaugurated on 14 October 1967 on the Glatt: an open ice field of over 1,800 square metres and a roofed hall.
Currently out of season The operator's news item says the opening of the outdoor ice field planned for Saturday 3 October 2026 is postponed because of the weather, and that it will decide from when an opening is possible as the weather develops; free hockey (Chneble) in the hall runs at dated times in weeks 41 and 42, listed in a PDF with that item. The Kunsteisbahn page gives the public skating season as 3 October 2026 to 7 March 2027, but the weekly hours still printed there are those of the 2025/26 season, so no sessions are listed here. Checked on 4 October 2026. Official schedule update
The Kunsteisbahn in Dübendorf was inaugurated on 14 October 1967 in fine weather and with strong public participation. It lies right on the Glatt river. The complex has a roofed hall with a grandstand for about 2,000 seated and standing spectators, an open ice field of more than 1,800 square metres and a curling hall with four rinks, which hosts national and international tournaments.
The EHC Dübendorf trains children in ice hockey on the ice, and the Dübendorfer Eislaufclub is based at the Im Chreis, offering courses from trial lessons to holiday and adult courses. The Curling Club Dübendorf, which offers courses from the age of 5, is an important part of the site, and the Skate Academy Switzerland offers performance training. The roofed hall with its grandstand is also in use in summer.
