A 1964 stadium in the Sahnpark, roofed in 1994
The Kunsteisstadion lies in the Sahnpark in the north of Crimmitschau. The stadium was built in 1964 and roofed in 1994, and a seated stand was added in 2002. Between 2009 and 2011 the arena was renovated and extended; behind the north stand a new multi-purpose building now holds the team dressing rooms and the technical rooms.
The town of Crimmitschau runs the stadium, which is licensed for up to 5,222 visitors. It is used for more than ice hockey, including by clubs such as the speed skaters, and the town counts public skating, monthly ice discos and the traditional Eisfasching among the draws for visitors of all ages. Local caterers provide food and drink at events.
In summer the thawed ice surface is available for hockey tournaments and other events.
