Four ice pads since a 2012 expansion

Milton Sports Centre reached its present size in March 2012, when the Town of Milton celebrated the official grand opening of the expanded building. Phase 1 of the expansion added two new ice pads to the two the centre already had, along with an indoor track, a double gymnasium and a mirrored studio with a sprung floor. The same phase brought the building to LEED certification, with a geothermal heat recovery system among its energy measures. A town-funded Phase 2 added a leisure pool and an eight-lane, 25-metre pool.

Today the town lists four arenas at the centre, lettered A through D, and streams all four rinks on LiveBarn. The Milton Skating Club runs its CanSkate lessons here, and the Milton Speed Skating Club, formed in 2004, practises on Rink C. The building also houses the Milton Springers Gymnastics Club.

The centre is home to the Milton Sports Hall of Fame. Its Wall of Fame display hangs in the hallway between the customer service desk and the gym, and Hall of Fame signs lead there from every entrance.
