Non-profit-run outdoor rink in downtown Kinburn, entered in the Kraft Hockeyville contest in February 2026
For the latest skating dates, check the rink’s official information.
Kinburn Community Centre Outdoor Rink is run by the KCA, the non-profit that manages the Kinburn Community Centre along with the outdoor rink and the softball and soccer fields in downtown Kinburn. The same group organizes social and fundraising events for the Kinburn community through the year.
The ice is a boarded rink with permanent boards and permanent lights, and a fieldhouse stands beside it. In December 2018 the rink was open and flying flags for ice conditions: green for excellent, yellow for a few bumps but usable, and red for do not use.
In February 2026 the rink was entered in the Kraft Hockeyville contest, with the goal of a new ice surface for the Kinburn Community Centre. Carroll, one resident quoted in the campaign, said many locals grew up at the rink, remembering Friday night skating parties, winter carnivals, hockey games and learning to skate for the very first time.
