Nonprofit rink where the Seattle Skating Club teaches; the ice stays between 35 and 50 degrees all year
Lynnwood Ice Center runs as a nonprofit rink, a member of USA Hockey, U.S. Figure Skating, Learn to Skate USA and the U.S. Ice Rink Association, and has provided skating lessons, public sessions and hockey leagues for over three decades.
The Seattle Skating Club teaches its Learn to Skate classes here. The coaching staff includes former international and Olympic-level skaters. Off the ice there is a warm lobby with a snack bar, private birthday party rooms and a video room with a 100-inch screen and classroom seating used for team video breakdowns.
Expect cold: the rink stays between 35 and 50 degrees through the year whatever the season outside. The center's site lists public sessions and stick and puck among its regular ice times.
