Built in 2013 on the site of Jackson Arena

Stowe Arena is the town of Stowe's ice rink, open since 2013 on the site of Jackson Arena, the 1974 building it replaced. Jackson Arena was torn down early in 2013 after forty years of use, and the new arena went up on the same ground that year as a $6.5 million project.

The building holds one NHL-size ice sheet and an indoor turf field, with heated bleacher seating for 500 and a glass-walled viewing lobby, on the town recreation grounds beside Stowe Elementary School. It is the home rink of the Stowe High School Raiders boys' and girls' hockey teams and of Stowe Youth Hockey, and other local and regional teams of all ages skate here as well.

Several tournaments come through each year: the Hyde Cup, the Stowe Winter Carnival, the Girls' Labor Day Tournament and the Stowe Youth Hockey Tournament are all played here, and the Don Post Memorial Hockey Tournament is on the arena's program list. On a public session in December 2017, a Seven Days writer counted about twenty skaters circling the ice, from toddlers to adults, with classic rock piped in over the boards.
