Woodstock's 84 by 200 foot community ice rink, opened in 2003
Currently out of season Union Arena's Public Skating page says ice returns October 19, 2026 and that many public skates will be held this winter; the 2026-2027 public skating schedule is not posted yet ("please check back for schedule"), so no public sessions are shown here yet. The page already prints the public skate rates. Official schedule update
Union Arena Community Center opened in 2003 with the mission of giving the community a safe and fun ice skating rink. The rink measures 84 by 200 feet inside a 17,000 square foot facility that holds up to 2,100 people.
The arena offers public skating sessions, group lessons and private coaching, along with birthday party packages that include admission and a private locker room. It works with local schools and organizations to give children skating opportunities, and it hosts fundraisers and charity events.
Skates are sharpened on Blademaster machines, and the arena is open seven days a week with office hours that vary through the winter season. It is also a LiveBarn venue, so families and friends who cannot make it to the rink can watch events live or on demand. Union Arena describes itself as a place built on partnership with the schools and groups around it.
